"Necessity is the mother of invention." For quite a while I had wanted to paint on paper materials, including maps, rather than on canvas, but I had been unable to do so using the techniques that I was comfortable with. After quite a bit of experimentation, and a few happy accidents, I finally found a way to thin and layer the paint on paper that gave the results that I was looking for. |
